Adult/College Student Scholarships
Now Accepting Applications for 2011/2012
Although priority is given to students intending to major in music, talented non-majors planning to participate in large ensembles and private lessons are also eligible. Prospective students who apply for scholarship assistance may receive scholarship offers based upon a variety of factors. While a demonstration of basic talent is important, other issues such as musical background activities and level of involvement in the community or school are considered.
Applicants should submit a written essay not to exceed 500 words expressing their interest and qualifications. A coverpage is required, get coverpage here. Examples of musical accomplishments are also required.
Applicants must be Michigan residents and undergraduates currently enrolled or in the process of enrollment in an accredited college, university or school of music. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Scholarships range from $250-$1000 depending on qualifications.
