Along with great music, the event is designed to “send a little bit of home” to troops overseas through music. Concert-goers are asked to bring a music download card, such as iTunes, or make a contribution so organizers can send music to the armed forces.

Doors open at noon at Prime Event Center, 1201 Washington Ave. The day’s musical lineup includes:

12:30 p.m. Honesty & The Liars

1:30 p.m. Jodi Sasse & Southern Cross

2:30 p.m. Burnaround

3:30 p.m. Steve Armstrong & The 25 Cent Beer Band

4:30 p.m. The Sinclairs

5:30 p.m. Mandi Layne & The Lost Highway

6:30 p.m. Steel Wheels

Admission is $5 in advance, $8 at the door. Tickets are available at Mid Michigan Music locations in Bay City and Midland and also at Hooters in Bay City.
